Biloxi Lighthouse Lens
Biloxi, Mississippi

The lens shown above is the one currently being used, in 2002, at the Biloxi lighthouse. It is shown with a 1,000 watt light.  The north section of the lens is not in place, as you can see in the photo. My guess is that it is so that the beam is not cast into the residential areas on that side of the lighthouse.
